Avoiding Writicide: Valuing Writing in Tough Times

Feb. 4—San Antonio Writing Project’s Sixth Annual Teacher’s Conference

In times of tight budgets, constricted and even scripted curriculums, and low teacher morale, teachers need more than ever ideas and inspiration to spark confidence and a love for writing in today’s students.

This Conference offers sessions where San Antonio Writing Project Teacher Consultants will share successful activities they have used in their classroom for the teaching of writing.
